Terms of Service
Last updated 29 August 2026
FRIGG is a macOS app made by Hyeon Min Song, a sole proprietor in San Jose, California. Using the app or buying FRIGG Pro means these terms apply. Questions go to hyeonminsong7@gmail.com, and a real person answers.
What you get
FRIGG listens while you work, transcribes what you say, and answers questions about it. It runs on your Mac, and the model behind it runs on our key. An account is required. Two ways to pay for it:
- Free. Every account gets three sessions, an hour of speech, thirty answers, and three pet drawings. These are counted once over the life of the account, not refreshed each month.
- Pro, $12 a month or $96 a year. We supply the key. The plan includes 20 hours of speech a month, measured while you are actually speaking, not while the app is open. New accounts get 14 days free.
Your account
FRIGG needs an email address, and signing in means entering a code we email you. Keep your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us if you think someone else has.
Billing
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- The trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of 14 days unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings, FRIGG Pro, Manage billing.
- Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Prices can change. If they do, we will email you at least 30 days before it affects your renewal.
- Go past 20 hours of speech in a month and sessions pause until the 1st. Write to us and we will usually lift it rather than cut you off.
What you may not do
- Share one Pro account across several people, or resell access to it.
- Use the hosted key as a general-purpose API. The endpoints are limited to FRIGG's own features on purpose.
- Break the law with it, or use it where recording a conversation without consent is illegal. That is on you, not us. Some places require every person in a conversation to agree to being recorded.
What we do not promise
FRIGG is a small product, run by one person, on top of services (OpenAI, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel) that can fail. It is provided as-is, with no warranty. Its answers can be wrong: it is a rubber duck that talks back, not an authority. Check anything before you ship it.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. We are not liable for lost work, lost data, or lost profit.
Ending it
You can stop any time by cancelling and deleting the app. We can suspend an account that is breaking these terms, and we will explain why by email first unless the problem is urgent.
Changes and law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email Pro users. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
